Website Deployment
The Thumpo landing page and policy pages are static HTML/CSS files located in the
site/ directory. They are hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
Quick Start
To deploy the website to production, execute the deployment script from the project root:
npm run site:deploy
How It Works
The site:deploy command is configured in package.json:
npx wrangler@4 pages deploy site --project-name thumpo --branch master
When run, Wrangler performs the following steps:
- Gathers all static assets inside the
site/directory (HTML pages, CSS, icons, fonts). - Authenticates with Cloudflare Pages under the
thumpoproject name. - Deploys the files to the production environment associated with the
masterbranch.
Prerequisites
- Node.js: Ensure you are using Node.js 22.13+ (via
nvm use). -
Cloudflare Authentication: On your first run, Wrangler may prompt you to log into your
Cloudflare account via browser (
npx wrangler login), or you can set theCLOUDFLARE_API_TOKENenvironment variable. -
Permissions: Ensure your Cloudflare user has permission to push to the
thumpoPages project.
Local Testing Before Deployment
Before deploying to production, test changes locally by inspecting the HTML files or running a local static server:
npx serve site
Or using Python's built-in HTTP server:
python3 -m http.server -d site 8080
