These terms cover your use of the Thumpo app and this website. By using Thumpo you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. How we handle your data is explained separately in our privacy policy.

Who can use Thumpo

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it. If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

Your account

You can use Thumpo without an account. If you sign in, keep access to your Google account or email secure: you're responsible for what happens in your Thumpo account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings › Account › Delete account) or as described on our account deletion page.

Your photos, videos and reels

Your photos, videos and the reels you make with Thumpo are yours. They stay on your phone and we don't claim any rights to them. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use the photos, videos and music you put in a reel, and to share it wherever you post it.

Music

Music included in Thumpo is licensed for use in reels you make with the app. Don't extract it or use it on its own outside Thumpo. Music you add from your own phone is your responsibility: some platforms may mute or remove videos that use music you don't have the rights to.

AI music is created by our music provider, ElevenLabs, from the description you type. You may use tracks you generate in your reels, including reels you post publicly. Don't ask for music that copies a specific artist or song, or that's unlawful or hateful. Generated music can sometimes sound like existing music; we can't guarantee it never will.

Pro and credits

• Pro is a subscription sold through Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Credits are used for features such as AI music. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged for money, and are lost if you delete your account.
• Prices are shown in the app and in Google Play before you buy. We may change prices for future purchases or renewals; Google Play will tell you before a price change applies to your subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. This doesn't affect any rights you have under the law where you live.

Using Thumpo fairly

Please don't:

• use Thumpo to make or share content that's illegal, or that harms or harasses others;
• try to get around limits on Pro features or credits, or misuse purchases or refunds;
• copy, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it;
• interfere with Thumpo's servers or other people's use of the app.

If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account. Where reasonable we'll tell you first and explain why.

The app itself

Thumpo, its name, logo, design and code belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for as long as you follow these terms. We keep improving Thumpo and may add, change or remove features. If we ever stop offering Thumpo, we'll give reasonable notice in the app.

No guarantees

We work hard to make Thumpo reliable, but it's provided as it is. Keep your original photos and videos: we can't promise the app will always work without errors, or that drafts will never be lost.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or unexpected losses, or for losses caused by things outside our control. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away your rights as a consumer.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update them here and change the date at the top. For big changes we'll also tell you in the app before they apply. If you keep using Thumpo after that, the new terms apply.
